What we are about?
The Cheddar Local Action Team was formed at the start of 2005 joining together as two parallel teams of adults and young people working for the good of the community.
Our aim is to “get stuff done” for young people in and around Cheddar rather than just complaining about what’s not happening.
What have we done?
Well we’ve:
- Got a Youth Club funded, up and running with over 30 young people turning up every Tuesday night
- Hosted a round of the Battle of the Bands attracting over 300 young people
- Organised a Skate Jam in Wells which saw young people from all over the area watching and taking part.
